PTFE Teflon Sheets Products

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), the most slippery and chemical resistant material in the industry, is absolutely unaffected by acid, base, solvent and moisture.

It is offered with two different production technologies in Batı Gasket stocks:

  1. Skived Sheets: They are flexible sheets that can be rolled in rolls, usually between 0.5mm and 3mm thin. Ideal for gasket cutting and surface coatings.

  2. Moulded Sheets: Hard plates produced by pressing from 3mm to 100mm thickness. It is processed on CNC and lathe machines and used in bushing, bearing, gear and special machine parts.

In addition to pure (Virgin) Teflon, we also have Carbon, Bronze or Glass Fibre reinforced sheet options for places that require more resistance to pressure and abrasion.

Featured Features

  • 🧪 Complete Chemical Resistance: No chemical substance except molten alkali metals can disrupt its structure (pH 0-14).

  • ⛸️ Low Friction (Lubricity): It is even more slippery than ice. It is used as “sliding plate” in bearing elements and bridge bearings.

  • 🌡️ Wide Temperature Range: It maintains its form from -200°C (Cryogenic) freezing cold to +260°C oven temperature.

  • Electrical Insulation: It is an excellent dielectric material, does not arc at high voltage.

  • 🚫 Non-Stick: Nothing sticks on it. Food paste, glue or paint is easily cleaned.

Areas of Use

  • Chemical Valve and Pump Seals

  • Machine Part, Bushing and Bearing Manufacturing with CNC

  • Laboratory Bench Coatings

  • Food Processing and Packaging Tapes

  • Bridge and Steel Structure Shear Bearings
