Odourless, tasteless and bacteria-free special sealing element that maintains its flexibility from -60°C cold to +250°C heat. Ideal solution for FDA approved food and pharmaceutical lines, oven doors and electrical isolation points.
In cases where standard rubber seals (NBR, EPDM) harden and break due to temperature or are insufficient at points requiring hygiene, Silicone Seals (VMQ) come into play.
Thanks to its inorganic structure, it does not crack or “vomit” (chemical release to the surface) over time like carbon-based tyres. As Batı Conta, we cut flange and cover gaskets in special sizes for your project, either from Transparent silicone suitable for food regulations or Red silicone sheets symbolising high heat resistance.
Caution: Silicone is a material with low oil and petrol resistance. Viton or NBR should be preferred for such fluids.
🌡️ Wide Temperature Range: Does not break in freezing temperatures (-60°C), does not melt and does not stick in oven temperatures (+250°C).
🍏 100% Hygiene (FDA): No odour and taste. Thanks to its smooth surface, it does not allow the growth of bacteria and fungi.
☀️ UV and Ozone Resistance: It is not affected by sunlight, weather conditions and humidity. It is perfect as an outdoor (lighting / electrical panel) gasket.
Electrical Insulation: It has high dielectric resistance and can be safely used as panel and transformer gasket.
🧘 Flexibility: It has a very high ability to recover its former form after being crushed under pressure (Compression Set).
