Viton Gaskets Products

These gaskets, known in the industry as Viton by its commercial name and FKM (Fluorocarbon) by its technical name, are used in the most aggressive environments where standard rubbers (NBR, EPDM) melt, swell or lose their properties.

Viton gaskets, which we offer as Batı Conta, act as an excellent “chemical shield” against corrosive fluids such as fuels, aggressive acids, aromatic hydrocarbons and biodiesel thanks to fluorine atoms in its molecular structure. In addition, unlike NBR gaskets, it does not harden or crack even at continuous temperatures above 200°C.

If you have both high temperature and heavy chemical/oil in your line, Viton is the only elastomer you should not take risks and use.

Featured Features

  • 🧪 Superior Chemical Resistance: Exceptionally resistant to petrol, diesel, jet fuel, thinner, trichloroethylene and strong acids.

  • 🔥 High Heat Resistance: It can operate at +200°C continuous, +250°C instantaneous temperatures (NBR can withstand maximum 120°C).

  • 💪Mechanical Strength: High resistance to crushing under pressure, very low gas permeability in vacuum environments.

  • ⏳ Long Life: Since it is resistant to ozone, weather conditions and oxidation, it maintains its properties for years even in the outdoor environment.

Areas of Use

  • Automotive and Ship Engines (Fuel and Oil Systems)

  • Petrochemical Plants and Refineries

  • Chemical Transfer Pumps and Valves

  • Paint and Solvent Lines

  • Hydraulic Systems (for non-flammable hydraulic oils)
